[Account](https://support.vortex-io.fr/en/account?hsLang=en) July 9, 2025 # About Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) ## Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) helps better protect your vorteX-io account by adding an extra layer of security: in addition to your password, a unique code will be required each time you log in. ### Enabling Two-Factor Authentication You can enable 2FA at any time from your personal account space: 1. Log in to your vorteX-io account. 2. Click on your name at the top right of the screen. 3. Select **"*Profile*"**. 4. In the **Two-Factor Authentication** section, click **"*Enable*"**. **💡Good to know** Once you’ve enabled 2FA, you’ll be shown a QR code. Scan this code using an authenticator app like Google Authenticator on your smartphone.
