About Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) helps better protect your vorteX-io account by adding an extra layer of security: in addition to your password, a unique code will be required each time you log in.


Enabling Two-Factor Authentication

You can enable 2FA at any time from your personal account space:

  1. Log in to your vorteX-io account.

  2. Click on your name at the top right of the screen.

  3. Select "Profile".

  4. In the Two-Factor Authentication section, click "Enable".

💡Good to know

Once you’ve enabled 2FA, you’ll be shown a QR code.
Scan this code using an authenticator app like Google Authenticator on your smartphone. This app will then start generating short, time-limited codes that you’ll use to log in.

 


 Logging in with 2FA

From now on, every time you sign in:

  • Start by entering your usual password

  • Then, open your authenticator app and enter the secure code shown there

That’s it quick, simple, and much more secure!
