How to Subscribe to a VorteX-io Sensor

Whether you're just getting started or already familiar with our solutions, this guide will walk you through how to select and subscribe to a vorteX-io sensor directly from our marketplace.


1. Browse the Marketplace

If you don’t have a vorteX-io account yet, you can still explore available sensors through our marketplace. No account is required to access it.

From the marketplace, you can:

  • View the exact locations of our measurement points,

  • Select sensors that meet your needs,

  • Search by City, Region...
  • Highlight watercourse on the Map for easy identification.

💡Tip: Each sensor station is color-coded for easier navigation:

  • Green: The station is active and data is immediately accessible.

  • Blue: The station is being installed; data will be available soon.

  • Purple: The location is eligible and easily instrumentable. 

Use the search menu to find stations near a specific area. Once you've found a station of interest, click "Add to Cart" to begin the subscription process


Once your selection done, simply click on the "proceed to next step" Button.

 

2. Choose a Subscription Plan

After selecting your sensor(s), you'll be prompted to choose a plan that matches your goals:

  • Risk Prevention: Ideal for anticipating flood or drought risks.

  • Hydrological Studies: Perfect for in-depth hydrological research.

  • Advanced Monitoring: Best suited for continuous and comprehensive river monitoring.

3. Add Optional Features

If the station you've selected is already active, you’ll have the option to purchase historical data covering previous months.

A summary of your order will be shown on the right side of the screen for review.



4. Finalize Your Order

Once you're satisfied with your selection:

  1. Choose a payment method.

  2. Enter your details.

  3. Click "Complete Payment".

Public Organizations:

If you're part of a public organization and can’t make online payments, you can request a formal quote at this stage.
